American Bulldog X At TownLake and In Final Hours

My friend, Molly, has contacted me, today, to ask me to put out a plea for help. She was recently asked to transport, what was supposed to be an English Bulldog to a Dallas Area Bulldog rescue group. However, they soon realized the dog was not purebred and the group has refused to take him. This leaves Jager, a 3 yr old male bulldog mix, without a home and without many options.

We need a foster home or a permanent home, ASAP. Jager has not been neutered but this will happen when he leaves Town Lake Animal Shelter. He also has a small case of mange but it is not contagious and can be cleared up with a few special baths and a change to a more nutritous diet. He really is out of time so, please spread the word, quickly, and let me know, soon as possible, if you have room in your home and heart to spare.

Active Partner Needed for Active Pawtner

Thi is Buster. He is 1 1/2 year old male, not neutered, but soon will be! He currently lives with and is great with kids. He loves to play with the children and give em big doggie kisses. He is better with bigger children who can tell him to stay down as he sometimes gets so excited and becomes very wiggly. He's got a great personality, very friendly to everyone. He loves to be cuddled and wants to spend all his time with his people. His current family admits they don't have the time or energy for him.

He'd love a doggie friend. He has never been aggressive around other dogs. He just wants to make friends with every dog he meets.

He would be best at a home without cats or other small animals. His current family says that cats, squirrels, birds, raccoons, possum, anything small (even Chihuahuas!) are subject to being chased and treated like toys. Buster needs to be given a home where he will receive the attention that all dogs deserve. His new family will need to dedicate themselves to taking Buster to dog obedience classes. He needs some discipline in his life along with long walks or runs and tons of love. Please contact me if you think you would be interested in adopting or fostering Buster.
