Doggie Dash 5k

This past Sunday, one of my favorite dog races took place, the Doggie Dash 5k. I love this event because-
1. The Hill Country Running Company, who puts it on, loves dogs and go out of their way to make the event dog friendly.
2. The dogs get to wear timing chips. (how cool is that!)
Kent and I ran with Bella and our foster Eva. Bella took 1st masters (dog over 6yrs old) and was 5th over all while Eva ran a respectable sub-21 mins and was about 7th overall.
We met our good friends and fellow GSP lovers, Paul and Meredith Terranova. Paul ran with their sweet GSP, Flyer. He ran a sub-18 min 5k and was 2nd over all.
We saw my one time foster, Juno (fka Junebug), with his mom and dad, Matt and Laurie Allen. Juno was super spry and so happy to be there. She and Bella exchanged kisses and butt sniffs.
We met some great people and super fast dogs (or some great dogs and super fast people). Amico Williamson ran with his
dad, Derek Williamson, for a sub-17 min 5k. I don't care who you are, that is some CRAZY speed.
