Two Aussies Left Behind After Companion Dies Unexpectedly

First Clyde, then later Luna, was adopted by the same gentle, quiet man and for a year and a half, the three made a happy family. The dogs learned to love to go for rides in the car and walks around the neighborhood with their dad. Sadly, their hero suddenly passed away, leaving them alone again.
We can't bear to think of splitting up this pair; they love to play together, as well as rely on each other for comfort and companionship. Clyde and Luna don't ask for much: A quiet home with one or two sensitive, patient people who will give them time to warm up on their own schedule. A yard with a couple of trees to provide opportunities for squirrel and bird watching. Regular walks and occasional car rides. Because they have not been around them, often, we would prefer to find them a home without young children
Although both of these dogs are very shy, they have never shown any aggression. Once they get to know you, they are affectionate--it just takes awhile. Both offer wonderful petting opportunities. Their loyalty, once they settle in, is its own reward.
Clyde and Luna are up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention, are altered, and microchipped.
