Hogs For Dogs
Hogs for Dogs Fundraiser for the new Hutto Animal Shelter 7/29/06
The Hutto Chamber of Commerce, Snuffy's Bar and Grill (in Hutto), and the Hutto Business Update are working on a motorcycle fun run (Hogs For Dogs) on July 29 to raise funds to help the new Hutto animal shelter. As part of that we are working with the Hutto Parks & Recreation Dept to have a 1K run at Fritz Park in Hutto and a rabies clinic.
If there are any rescue groups that would like to participate, or if you have any questions, please contact me by email at kkroyer@msn.com. There is NO VENDOR FEE for this event and it would be a great opportunity to showcase dogs you may have available for adoption. The Hogs For Dogs will be the cover story in the July/August issue of the Hutto Business Update which is distributed to every address in the 78634 zip code and beyond. Any group participating will be listed in the story or on the sidebar. So if you would like to be involved, let me know by Wednesday 6/14/06, so I can get your group listed before the Business Update goes to print in the middle of June.
This event is separate from the Hutto Olde Tyme Days Festival on October 21st that I previously posted about. Thanks to all that have expressed interest for the October event!
